Looking good Guil! Your sketches are really nice. You're loosing a little bit of the accuracy of the angles on the rectalinear forms and I would say that would be in part because your pages dont have a grid to help you keep track of the angles. I'm not totally sold on the new concept, I think its moved too far away from the original two.
Have a think now how you could develop the form to address the needs and purpose (ie tram stop, shelter, seating, think how it might be used and how that use could be made into the best possible experience), that will help you develop the functional side of the design as well as the aesthetic.
What I mean is that the design should evolve between now and the final submission. If the final submission just includes the same form you have now, with some added trees, context etc. you wont have done enough... the idea needs to continue to grow. aka the development of the design. Think of it more as refinement.

Thank you, Chris :) and for next week I'm bringing the grid notebook only!
ReplyDeleteI'll think of a new concept throughout this week and update it before Wednesday.
Concerning the needs and purposes, do you mean adding new features/shapes or changing the way it's set? Like rotating, for instance.
Cheers,
Gui
