CONCEPTS

Jørn Utzon
1. Changing perspective for the viewer.
2. To be created in response to a location and be unsuitable somewhere else.
3. A rebellion from convention.
4. Architecture is not static, it keeps evolving.
5. A marriage of form and function.

Jørn Utzon, Danish architect, design the worldly famous Sydney Opera House and many others iconic buildings, such as Can Lis, Svaneke water tower and Bagsværd Church. As an architect, the world has seen Utzon challenge the conventional archetype of buildings and structures, mixing the intended function of the building to his personal interpretation, a marriage between imagination and practicality.

Moreover, Utzon's buildings transpire the idea that it can be further modified. Be embellished throughout the time, taken by the example of the Opera House itself, where the internal structure can easily be changed as it becomes antiquated.

Richard Leplastrier
1. Simplicity amplifies the context.
2. Undefined threshold.
3. Propagation of personal connection.
4. A mechanism for gathering and community.
5. An appearance influenced by activity.

Richard Leplastrier - an Australian architect responsible for amazing pieces of work, such as the Palm Garden House and Rainforest House - can be seen as the quintessential name of simplicity and minimalism combined with great and emblematic architecture.

Dreyer Foundation points out that his architecture is an Ode to Nature, bringing together Art and Aboriginal cultural.

His architecture is not exorbitant. On the contrary. His work is more of a secret treasure that must be pursuit for contemplation.

The building transpire utility. Usefulness.

Additionally to that, another unique trace of his work would be the undefined limits of the house. What limits the built and the natural environments? Open spaces providing beautiful views and ventilation airs the personal space.
